Terms and Conditions
The Mr. Floats CarnEvil of Souls is a convention-wide free scavenger hunt,
open to all U.S. Residents 18 years and older.

Participants must follow and obey all local and federal health, traffic and safety laws and restrictions.
Participants play at your own risk and acknowledge and accept that participation in the activities could present unanticipated risks which could result in
INJURY, DEATH, ILLNESS OR DISEASE, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL, OR DAMAGE.
Participants must be present to participate
Mr. Floats and the Mr. Floats Scavenger Haunt is a free to play cosplay event,
and is NOT affiliated with Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., or Castle Rock Entertainment.
Important notice re COVID-19: Please note any interaction with the general public poses an elevated risk of being exposed to COVID-19 and we cannot guarantee that you will not be exposed while in attendance.
Mr. Floats and/or its affiliates is not responsible for the health and safety of these interactions.
Participants are required to follow all posted safety policies, as well as local laws and restrictions.

The Mr. Floats “CarnEvil of Souls” is open to Los Angeles Comic Con attendees who are 18 years of age or older, and who have agreed to these Rules.
In order to participate the CarnEvil of Souls, you must agree to these Official Rules (“Rules”). Therefore, please read these Rules prior to entry to ensure you understand and agree. You agree that participation in the CarnEvil of Souls constitutes agreement to these Rules.

Decisions by Mr. Floats and the CarnEvil of Souls are final – no substitutions will be available.

By claiming prizes, winners authorize the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, social media and other publications, distribution over the internet and picture date storage, which Mr. Floats may deem appropriate.

In participating any guest(s), acknowledges that Mr. Floats CarnEvil of Souls (Mr. Floats) Los Angeles Comic Con,
PCB Entertainment or the Los Angeles Convention Center may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with participating, accepting or using this prize(s).

Mr. Floats retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
 

Participants are subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws.
 

Traffic conditions, weather, road closures, and other unforeseen elements may delay or cancel scheduled appearances or map locations. Mr. Floats reserves the right to withdraw, postpone or terminate this Scavenger Haunt at any time without prior notice.
 

Participants agree that personal data including, but not limited to, name, mailing address, phone number, and email address may be collected, processed, stored and otherwise used for the purposes of conducting and administering the Scavenger Haunt. Further, this data may also be used by Mr. Floats to verify a Participant’s identity, and telephone number in the event a Participant qualifies for any applicable prize.
 

All information provided will be maintained in accordance with Mr. Floats’ privacy policy, which Participants should read and understand, and will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Scavenger Haunt.
 

Any false information provided within the context of the CarnEvil of Souls by any Participant concerning identity, telephone number, email address, ownership of right or non-compliance with these Official Rules or the like may result in the immediate elimination of the Participant from the Scavenger Haunt. Mr. Floats further reserves the right to disqualify any Entry that it believes in its sole and unfettered discretion infringes upon or violates the rights of any third party, otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules, or violates U.S. law.

Mr. Floats is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission. Mr. Floats is not responsible for theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind. Mr. Floats is not responsible for inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Mr. Floats on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any combination thereof, except to the extent that any death or personal injury is caused by the negligence of Mr. Floats.
 

If for any reason the CarnEvil of Souls is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the CarnEvil of Souls, Mr. Floats reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Scavenger Haunt. Mr. Floats further reserves the right to disqualify any Participant who tampers with the submission process or any other part of the Scavenger Haunt. Plus, shame on you.
